Business Development Manager
I work alongside Dr. RongRong Xu in our European and Asian Territories and assist with day-to-day sales activities, helping to build our customer base. On of my favourite parts of the role is meeting our end users at the exhibitions, conferences and events Covesion attend throughout the year.
Main Areas of Expertise
I did a Master's degree in Physics with Astrophysics and Cosmology at the University of Portsmouth. As part of this there were a lot of modules that are relevant to the work here at Covesion including waves, optics and material physics. After university I started working in a sales role, but this was outside of my scientific interests. Working in Business Development at Covesion allows me to work in a commercial role that uses the knowledge acquired during my studies.
Hobbies & Interests
My main interest outside of all thing’s physics related is Brighton and Hove Albion. I am a season ticket holder and a passionate Seagull! I was born and grew up in and around Sussex, so it is my local team. I have supported them since they were without a permanent ground playing in League Two all the way now into the Premier League, so I am committed to them as a team for both the highs and the lows!
