Covesion is delighted to announce that its parent company, Hawthorn Photonics, a global leader in non-linear optics, has acquired Radiantis, a renowned innovator in tunable laser systems and optical parametric oscillators (OPOs). Radiantis now joins the Hawthorn Photonics Group, alongside Covesion (UK) and AdvR Inc. (USA), marking a significant milestone in its mission to advance photonics technologies worldwide.
The three companies are unified by a shared commitment to delivering high-performance, next-generation photonics solutions. Radiantis’s strength in OPOs and tunable laser technologies extends the Group’s established leadership in wavelength conversion, modulation, and non-linear optical systems.
As a collective, we can now cater to a wide range of photonics applications including, quantum technologies, biophotonics and medical imaging, environmental monitoring, industrial processing and advanced scientific research.
The addition of Radiantis significantly broadens the overall product offering, which now includes:
- Tunable laser systems for spectroscopy, imaging, and research.
- Optical parametric oscillators delivering widely tunable, coherent light.
- Non-linear crystals and waveguides for SHG, DFG, and other frequency conversion applications.
- Phase modulators optimised for visible wavelengths.
