We offer electro-optic modulator solutions in KTP, MgO:LN, and LN waveguides, supporting wavelengths from the near-UV through to telecom. With engineering expertise in RF electrode and waveguide design, we can develop custom devices tailored to unique application requirements. Our custom modulator solutions are ideal for OEMs and research teams that need performance, features, or packaging formats not available in standard commercial products.
Our waveguide-based Pockels cell provides high-speed polarization switching with low drive voltage. The device leverages the birefringence of our KTP waveguide by guiding orthogonal polarizations along the crystal axes. When an RF signal is applied, a controlled relative phase delay is introduced between these modes, enabling rapid switching.
Compared to bulk crystal Pockels cells, the waveguide approach enables faster switching and significantly reduced drive voltages, in a compact, robust format.
The Second Harmonic Modulator combines quasi-phase-matched second harmonic generation and phase modulation within a single fiber-coupled waveguide device. With in-house expertise enabling the delivery of fiber-coupled frequency converters and broadband phase modulators, we bring these functions together in one integrated solution simplifying system design while maintaining high performance.
