We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Electron Dynamics (Southampton, UK), a solution oriented, electronic engineering, company, providing full bespoke product design, development, manufacture and consultancy.
Electron Dynamics (ED) offers a range of technical services, from feasibility studies, circuit design and prototype development through to full manufacture. With many years of experience specialising in thermal management, they also manufacture a range of bespoke temperature controllers including Covesion’s OC3 unit.
Commenting on the acquisition, Mike Day, CEO of Covesion said: “The acquisition of Electron Dynamics is a perfect strategic fit for Covesion. As a long-term developer and supplier of our temperature controllers, it brings this electronic design and manufacturing capability in house both securing a vital part of our supply chain and enabling us to offer increased value to our OEM and scientific customers.” Mike continues: “The team at ED will be fully integrated with everyone here at Covesion in what a unique blend of electronic control and PPLN frequency conversion expertise for the photonics market.”
